Workout Without Leaving Your Apartment

Living in an apartment shouldn’t prevent you from reaching your fitness goals. Sure, you can always go elsewhere to get your fitness fix, but sometimes it’s nice (and necessary) to exercise at home. 1. Start Simple

When it comes to exercise, sometimes limitations can be for the best. While you might not have a lot of space to work with, and your downstairs neighbors can hear your every footstep, working out in the friendly confines of your apartment let’s you get back to the basics. We’re talking sit-ups, pushups, yoga, and other simple strengthening exercises. Think about it. Better yet, if you’re on the hunt for a new apartment, look for one that offers a fitness club or gym, and then make the most of the amenity.

3. The Pièce de Résistance

Weightlifting can be a great way to tone muscle, lose weight, and achieve your fitness goals, but weights aren’t always the most apartment-friendly exercise option. As a lightweight, quiet, and portable alternative, try using a resistance band. They come in different sizes and strengths, and you don’t have to leave your apartment bedroom to get a great workout.
